What we collect and why
From an inquiry form or a letter: name, email address, optional briefing type, optional sitting date, and the market or question you describe. From a commission: the contact details of people at the sitting, billing details, and copies of papers you supply. From the site itself: technical logs the host may keep, and cookies as described on the cookies page if you allow them.
We use this information to reply, to perform the commission, to invoice, to keep records required by Georgian accounting rules, and — where you ask — to send a later note about a diary date. We do not sell lists of clients.
Lawful grounds
Inquiries and commissions rest on steps at your request before a contract, and on performance of the contract. Accounting copies rest on legal obligation. A small number of atelier records (redacted samples, complaint files) rest on legitimate interest in running an honest drawing office, balanced against your interest in not being identified.
How long we keep it
Inquiry notes that do not become a commission are kept up to eighteen months. Commission files, including source copies you asked us to retain, are kept for seven years after the final invoice unless a longer legal period applies. Cookie choice is stored in your browser until you clear it.
Who sees it
The three people named on the about page, and a bookkeeper under a duty of confidence. A host or email carrier may process messages as a processor. We do not use the inquiry form to feed advertising networks.
International transfers
If a processor stores mail or backups outside Georgia, we rely on a contract that requires comparable care, and we will say so if you ask which countries are involved. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards where the law allows.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of data you provided, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may complain to Georgia’s personal data protection authority. These rights are not absolute: we may retain what the law requires, and we may refuse a deletion that would strip source notes from a settled commission still in its accounting period.
We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.
